My journey to becoming an autism and anxiety specialist was driven by my background in primary teaching and my passion for helping individuals and families navigate the complexities of sleep challenges that are experienced by a neurodivergent child.
You are not alone if your autistic child isn’t sleeping or it takes hours for them to fall asleep. Infact, 80% of autistic children struggle with sleep. It is not a case of saying “autistic children just don’t sleep.” Instead, we need to find out more about their sensory needs and triggers to use the best suited approach to getting them the sleep they deserve and reduce their anxiety. It is for this reason it is important to work with a certifed specialist like myself who has more in depth knowledge and understanding of the needs of autistic children. Traditional sleep methods just don’t work or have very little impact.
My 1:1 support will delve deeper into the unique and diverse needs of your autistic child and together our work will include;
Meeting sensory needs
Reducing anxiety
Making bedtime calmer
Getting more consistent sleep
Finding the root cause to night wakings

You know your child best and so we will work closely together to gradually work on your sleep goal and take it completely at your child’s pace. My elite package will focus on the challenges your child is facing and how these impact on sleep.
My 3 week support package includes-
Sleep analysis and questionnaire prior to our meeting
90-120 minute video consultation on Google Meet
An individual sleep action plan
3 weeks Daily Whatsapp support (Monday - Friday)
One follow up call per week (30 mins)
A further 3 follow up calls after our support has finished to be taken when you like within the following 6 months
Working on sleep with a neurodivergent child needs to be done at a really gradual pace. My ongoing support will give you the confidence to make changes, notice their triggers and have strategies for avoiding them in future allowing for long lasting quality sleep.
